The DUR190URT8 is a cordless Brush Cutter with bike type handle, powered by 18V Li-on LXT Slide type battery, to supply energy to the powerful 18V brushless motor, with soft start for smooth start-ups and constant speed control to automatically apply additional power to the motor to maintain constant speed under load, to deliver up to 6,000 rpm for faster cutting.
The DUR190URT8 is equipped with 3 speed settings for high, medium and low to allow the user to match the speed to the application, reverse switch for easy removal of tangled weeds and grass clippings, one protector for metal blade/plastic blade/trimmer head, tool-less shaft lock for plastic blade change, comfortable band assembly with cushioned shoulder pad and on-tool hex wrench for quick and easy blade installations and removals.
The DUR190URT8 has an electric brake and electronic current limiter for overload protection.

The DUR190URT8 features Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) to shut down the tool if the rotation speed suddenly slows down, Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT) to automatically change the cutting speed according to the load condition for optimum operation and eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) for improved dust and water resistance for use in harsh outdoor conditions.
The DUR190URT8 is equipped with battery protection circuit designed to protect the battery from damages due to overheating, over discharge and overload current.
